As it stands, the Hoist app is pretty ready to go, but the user experience isn't quite there yet. Let's add in a database to store user and subscription related information, so that we can keep members informed of the number of subscribers, and amounts we're investing.

In this session, Michael Compton from Dgraph will help us:

• define schema in Slash GraphQL;
• set authorization rules on these data;
• add to the Hoist API to handle Stripe hooks and write to Dgraph;
• expose aggregate data to a dashboard for reporting; and
• show basic site statistics on public pages.
