In episode 5, Ruben Restrepo helped us move from the basic, single file ExpressJS API to TypeScript with tests. There's still a lot we can do to improved the codebase though, so before the API grows, let's do just that.

In this session, we'll:

• Refactor often used code into separate functions;
• Swap out deprecated libraries with current alternatives;
• Move common functions into their own files; and
• Set up routing to group logical endpoints together.
